As stewards of Mianus River Park, Friends of Mianus River Park have been engaged in a wide variety of activities to preserve the park’s natural assets and infrastructure. This section of our site provides access to much of what we've done:

  • Park Improvement Projects (Trail Maintanence, Plantings, River Stabilization, etc.)
  • Partnering with federal, state and local governments and other volunteer organizations
  • Building awareness through hikes, maps and history

June 20th Trail Work June Plantings Volunteers planted 50 seedlings of native shrubs and native trees in the enclosure just upstream of the Hardened River Access, at the downstream end of the Meander Trail, and inside the enclosure at the upstream end of the River Road Trail.
